Overbrook Preschool and Kindergarten’s educational program is based on the principle that a sense of competency and self-esteem is the foundation upon which future academic success is built. Our vibrant educational setting provides each child with an opportunity for hands-on learning experiences in a safe and challenging environment, nurtured and guided by dedicated, professional teachers. Children engage in meaningful, play-based activities based on their interests and abilities, which are the building blocks for cognitive, social, and emotional learning.

For over 50 years, Overbrook Preschool and Kindergarten has created a joyful learning environment in which children are encouraged to explore and wonder, curiosity is nourished, and the development of social competency is of primary importance. OPK is proud to have prepared generations of young children to be caring contributors and peaceful problems-solvers in the community beyond our doors.
